Since life is pretty busy with the internship during the week, I try to make my weekends as eventful as possible, aka, as many food adventures as possible. Pictures below will show you the various food adventuresI have been up to-

Went to Room 4 Dessert-台北市大安區敦化南路1段161巷46號 (Taipei City, Daan District, Dunhua South Road, Section 1, 161 Lane, #46)

Fruit tea- Light and semi-sweet with a good after taste.

Cappuccino with cocoa powder on top

how cute is this? Banana-walnut tart with frozen yogurt.

closer look at this tart

Woolloomooloo- beautiful decor, warm Aussie atmosphere, good food. 台北市信義路四段379號 (Taipei City Daan District Xinyi Road Section 4 #379)

breakfast- scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast potato, sour dough toast with a slice of avocado

vegetarian eggs benedict

Went to Smith & Hsu, a famous English afternoon joint in Taiwan. A bit pricey, but the sandwiches were probably the best “western” food I have ever had in Taiwan. It’s a bold statement, but it’s absolutely true.

they first present you with a wide selection of tea. sniff around and pick one.

Assam milk tea. Creamy but not too sweet.

tuna sandwich, scone, cookie, tea jelly, and spread. The sandwich and the scone were exceptional.

Mozzarella and bacon sandwich. Bread was nicely toasted and the cheese was perfectly melted. Seriously good.

Chicken leg fruit salad. Very little but the chicken was juicy and tender.

Switching gear here, went to the fried/grilled chicken stand for a late night snack. It might look yucky to you, but it’s F*king delicious.

a wide selection of chicken parts, skewers, string beans, tempura, sausage

Grilled chicken heart, butt, and skin. Amazing.

A closer look at Taiwanese popcorn chicken. with basil. it’s the best.

everything pairs well with Taiwanese beer.

i really love this camera quality, despite your embarrassing case.

do you mean the australian food was the best western food youve had in taiwan, or the best western food you’ve had in the…west? lol

almost cried at the pics of fried chicken
