I love making banana bread/muffin type recipes. After I found the best banana bread recipe, I decided to venture out and go with another recipe with crumbs on top. Gosh, what’s better than crumbs on top of a warm and delicious banana muffin?
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 bananas, mashed
1 ts cinnamon
1/4 cup white sugar (you can add a little more for slightly sweeter muffins)
1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 ts vanilla
1/3 cup butter, melted and browned
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place muffin cups inside the tins.
2. In a nonstick pan, low and slowly melt butter, until brown.
4. In a large bowl, mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
7. For crumbs: mix in butter, cinnamon, flour, and brown sugar with your hands.
